[HTML] Forms Continued

Intro

HTML forms are the important source for collecting information. As I have already told you it is the major channel from where we connect to our users/visitors.

Form Controls

Html provides interactive, associated and collective form controls:

  • Input
  • Dropdown’s
  • Radio buttons
  • Checkbox
  • File upload
  • Textarea
  • Submit button
  • Reset button

The code above has all of the major form controls.

The Action

The action defines the address where all of the information in the form tag will go.

So What After That

There the information will be processed and then it may return some value.

Unfortunately

unfortunately, giving even an info about the server processing is beyond the scope of this article. You’ll not able to understand the serverside script unless you have a full knowledge of HTML.

No Worries

Don’t worry. If you want the PHP processing script regarding the forms. you can give your email address below. Ofcourse, we don’t charge for that.

Having trouble?

Submit your e-mail address and we will mail you the whole script exclusively for you. We’ll don’t charge for that.

The Code

<form>

   <label> name:</label>
   <br>
   <input type="text" name="name">
   <br>

  <label> password:</label>
  <br>
  <input type="password" name="pwd">
  <br>

  <input type="checkbox" name="check" value="check"> I accept TnC
  <br>

  <input type="radio" name="" value="" checked>Yes
  <br>

  <input type="radio" name="" value="">No
  <br>

</form>

PHP or ASP ?

Well, either you use PHP or ASP to process the data, you will eventually get the same result.

But I would rather use PHP, because honestly speaking I don’t know ASP much.

PS

Well, this is not the end. Read our next article to learn how to implement date, time and colour in the forms.
